Chosen by Île-de-France Mobilité, Ingelo, our engineering firm, is providing assistance on the project for the very first urban gondola lift in the Paris region, with the participation of several CDA ski areas, including ADS / Les Arcs and SEVABEL/ Les Menuires.
Led by Île-de-France Mobilités, the Cable A project is being developed to meet urban and regional planning constraints. Providing a link between Créteil and Limeil-Brévannes, this new form of clean, low-cost transport will improve public transport networks in urban areas, and in particular free it from congested motorways and facilitate fast, secure connections with metro lines, mainly line 8 in Créteil.
For this project, Ingelo is providing assistance to the contracting authority on the operability and maintainability of the future gondola lift. Compagnie des Alpes' engineering experts won the Île-de-France Mobilité (formerly Syndicat des Transports d'IdF or STIF) tender, in co-contracting with Transamo (its equivalent at Transdev).
Our teams have already carried out the "firm" part, which consisted of commenting, amending and improving the installation's specifications.
They have now just had the "optional" part confirmed, i.e. assistance with the consultation/negotiation of the companies, up to the choice of the builder. On the programme: proofreading of the specifications, participation in negotiation meetings, dialogue with the constructors and assistance in the final decision.
