Stéphane, Quality Safety Environment Manager (QSE) at our Les Menuires site, took a parental leave to carry out a beautiful project with his family: a 6000km journey across Europe on solar electric bicycles, with his wife and two daughters aged 5 and 2.
The bikes, specially fitted out by Stéphane, will allow them to reach Greece in total (or almost total) autonomy.
Leaving Albertville on July 17, the first stages of their journey take them through the magnificent Swiss mountains: "the landscapes are sumptuous, we are still amazed", says Estelle, press relations officer at the Les Menuires Tourist Office, on the Instagram account created for the occasion.
Their atypical tour should end in December: then they will head to Guadeloupe, in Stéphane's family, before returning to the Tarentaise mountains next summer.
