Les Trois Hiboux Hotel has obtained the "Green Key" certification with the encouragement of the jury, confirming the Park's commitment to its eco-responsible approach.
Implementation of an environmental policy and a socially responsible approach, intelligent waste management (reduction at source, collection and recycling), control of energy and water consumption, responsible purchasing (in particular for food and maintenance), active customer awareness: these are all criteria of the Green Key label that are taken into account by the labelled establishments. The labelling process includes regular audits and the collection of evidence to demonstrate the seriousness of the establishments' approach.
As the Parc Astérix will be inaugurating its 3rd hotel next spring, it is thus confirming its responsible commitment. Its ambition: to extend the customer experience by developing atypical and authentic hotels, while respecting its identity and its environment.
The hotel Les Quais de Lutèce will thus stand out for its hot water production supported by 70m2 of solar panels, wood materials from forests managed in an eco-responsible and sustainable way and by a privileged collaboration with almost exclusively local sub-contracting companies.
Located in the heart of the Oise Regional Park, the Asterix Park also works closely with the Conservatoire des Espaces Naturels de Picardie (Picardy Conservatory of Natural Spaces), and carries out numerous actions to reduce waste production at source, particularly plastic waste, but also to preserve or restore natural areas: reasoned mowing, eco-grazing, preservation of endemic species, etc.
Certified ISO 9001 in 2014, the Park has also set up an environmental management system based on the prerogatives of the ISO 14001 standard.
Finally, committed to improving its energy performance, it obtained ISO 50 001 certification in September 2018.
